With Texts, the screen headline is chosen, a new one is typed and it is saved with Enter.

For a typo or a text that changes, the quickest way is to fix it right there, as in a document.

Fix a text

  1. Zoom into the screen and click Text in the left rail, or press T.
  2. Click the text you want to change. It becomes editable.
  3. Type the new text.
  4. Press Enter to save it, or click outside. Esc leaves it as it was.

You'll see Text saved with an Undo button, in case you make a mistake. The change also goes into the screen's history.

In the Adjust box you can also change an element's text, along with its typography.

Troubleshooting

  • "That text is set by the screen code or a component": it is not written as is on the screen, so it cannot be changed from here. Ask for it in a note.
  • "That text appears several times and it is not clear which one it is": also with a note, saying which one.
  • "An AI batch is working on that screen": wait for it to finish.
  • You don't see Text in the rail: fixing texts requires the Can run with AI role.
