Publish the next update
When you change screens after delivering, publish a new update with everything or only with what changed. Your client sees what's new and what changed.
Who can do this
- For
- Designers, Your team
- Role
- “Can run with AI” and up
- Plan
- All plans, including Free
- Where
- On a computer
Each time you publish, your client gets a new update in the same portal: update 2, update 3… Their comments and their visits are kept.
See what changed since the last one
On the canvas, the Delivery button has a blue number with the screens that changed since the last publication to the portal, and those screens are also marked in the left column. Downloading a ZIP doesn't change it.
Publish the update
- Press Delivery and, in the summary, New update.
- Under Client you'll see which number it will have (for example, "This will be update 3"). Add or remove people if needed.
- Under What travels, choose: The whole project, Only what changed (only those screens get a new version; the rest stay as they are) or A selection, with Choose screens.
- Bitácora checks the screens. If it finds a problem, you can fix it first with Let the AI fix it now.
- Press Publish for the client.
You'll see Published: update 3 and, below it, what traveled: which screens got a new version, which are new and which were withdrawn because they're no longer in the project.
What your client sees
In their portal they see Update 3 and, if they sign in with their own password, each screen with its chip: New if they never opened it, Updated if it changed since they saw it, or Retired if it's no longer part of the delivery. They can compare versions: see See what changed between versions.
Clear the blue number without delivering
If you changed screens that don't need to be delivered, at the bottom of the sheet press Mark as up to date without delivering: the blue marks are cleared without publishing anything. It's the only way to clear them without publishing: a ZIP doesn't clear them.
Earlier deliveries
At the end of the sheet, Earlier deliveries keeps every publication and every ZIP, with its date.
