Delete your account

When you delete your account, everything of yours in Bitácora is deleted: your studio and its portal, your projects with their screens, notes, sketches and deliveries, your clients, your teams and your keys. You have 14 days to change your mind.

First, take your data

You can do it from the delete dialog itself: press Prepare and send and you get an email with a link to the file, which lasts 7 days. Or download it now, as explained in Take your data with you.

Delete it

1. Open Settings › Your data and, under Delete account, press Delete account.
2. Read what gets deleted. If you want, press Prepare and send to receive your data.
3. Type your email to confirm.
4. Press Delete without downloading, or Delete account if you asked for the file.
5. If you signed in a while ago, Bitácora sends a six-digit code to your email to confirm it's you.

You'll see the date when everything is deleted, and you get an email with the Sign in and cancel the deletion button.

What happens during those 14 days

• Your subscription is canceled. It stays active until the end of what you paid for.
• All your sessions are closed.
• Your access keys and the permissions you gave your AI tools are deleted.
• Your studio stays the same for the people who work with you and for your clients.

Change your mind

Sign in to Bitácora again before the date, however you usually sign in: with the email link, with Google or with your password. The deletion is canceled, your projects are still there and the bell confirms it.

When the 14 days are up

Everything is deleted and can no longer be recovered. The people who worked with you on your teams and projects get an email and lose access; their accounts aren't touched. Your clients stop seeing your deliveries. If you had lent your AI key to other people's projects, it stops working there.
